Support the SymphonyThe Long Bay Youth Symphony will present its Fall Concert at Trinity Church (3000 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach) on Wednesday, December 9th at 7:00 p.m.
The program will feature last spring's Student Concerto Competition winners as soloists: Grace Leonard, playing the Hoffmeister Viola Concerto; Isabella Yee, in Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 4; and harpist Audrey Rickert, joined by her mother and LBYS alumna Kathryn Rickert, in the Mozart Concerto for Flute and Harp.
The concert will also include selections by the LBYS Brass and Woodwind ensembles: the brass will perform Gabrieli's beloved Sonata Pian e Forte, as well as a brillant arrangement of "O Come All Ye Faithful", and the woodwinds will present selections from the Petite Symphonie by Gounod.
