The program will feature the winners of the annual LBYS Student Concerto Competition - bassist Lacy Tier, cellist Colin Scholl and bassoonist Aaron Nealey--performing concerto movements by Dragonetti, Haydn and Weber. In addition, the orchestra will present the first movement of Beethoven's famous Symphony No. 5, and various smaller groups from within the full ensemble will play chamber music selections by Handel, Dvorak, Haydn, Beethoven, Mozart and others.
