Long Bay Youth Symphony Winter Concert

The program will explore an international variety of music, from English composer William Walton's regal Crown Imperial Coronation March to Norwegian Dances by Edvard Grieg, Voices of Spring Waltzes by Austrian Johann Strauss. Jr., and excerpts from Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky's famous Pictures at an Exhibition. Long Bay Symphony cellist Chad Hammer joins the LBYS as soloist on French composer Camille Saint-Saens' Allegro appassionato, and the program closes with music from Wicked by Stephen Schwartz, one of the most successful shows on modern American Broadway.
