We believe that the key to growing the community’s love for the arts and music starts with the youth and the important influence of today’s teachers. That's why we created
The Long Bay Symphony Music Teacher of the Year program to recognize excellence in music education in the Grand Strand.

Each year, based on nominations received, teachers are chosen from each education level (elementary, middle, and high school) to receive recognition and a gift basket from Long Bay Symphony and its partners. Anyone (students, staff members, community members, etc.) can submit a nomination!

Nominations are now closed for the 2022-2023 Music Teacher of the Year.
