Featuring the Carolina Master Chorale
The expressive language of music is often more powerful than words. You will hear some of the finest examples of this expressive power in Antonin Dvořák’s display of festive exuberance and Claude Debussy’s sensuous symphonic poem. Mendelssohn depicts both religious introspection and zeal in his “Reformation” Symphony, Bruckner conveys spiritual fervor in Psalm 150 and Ralph Vaughan Williams creates a sense of passion on the subject of music itself! The LBS will take you on a powerful emotional journey.
