About Our Schedule

Long Bay Symphony hosts a variety of events, including our annual Masterworks concert series which begins in the fall and includes several performances each season. We also produce special events throughout the year such as symphonic pops concerts, youth orchestra showcases, galas, fundraisers, and community outreach events.

Masterworks Series

The Masterworks Series at Long Bay Symphony features a wide range of selections from the standard and contemporary repertoire. Concerts include national and local artists and appeal to both seasoned ticket holders and new audiences alike.

Pops Series

The Pops Series at Long Bay Symphony features fan-favorite popular music, such as the music of Queen, ABBA, the Eagles, and more! Concerts typically include a full rock band with vocalists who perform in front of the full symphony orchestra.

Special Events

Partnering with the Myrtle Beach Rotary Club, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, and other local organizations allows the Long Bay Symphony to bring the community a number of special musical events throughout the year including the long-running Bravo Broadway concert!

Youth Showcases

The Long Bay Symphony is incredibly proud of our two youth ensembles: the Long Bay Youth Symphony and the Long Bay Youth String Ensemble. The students who participate receive outstanding professional training and performance opportunities through weekly rehearsals and three concerts per year.

Fundraisers

In order to be able to continue supporting our mission, the Long Bay Symphony puts on several fundraising events throughout the year. Stay tuned to find out more about our 2024-2025 fundraising efforts!
