We believe that the key to growing the community’s love for the arts and music starts with the youth and the important influence of today’s teachers. That's why we created The Long Bay Symphony Music Teacher of the Year program - to recognize excellence in music education in the Grand Strand.
Each year, based on nominations received, teachers are chosen from each education level (elementary, middle, and high school) to receive recognition and a gift basket from Long Bay Symphony and its partners. We are happy to partner with the Carolina Master Chorale for the fourth year to present awards to choral teachers as well. Anyone (students, staff members, community members, etc.) can submit a nomination!
